पर्वताश च नमस्कृत्य तम एव पृथिवीं गताः अथायम अभजल लॊकः सकन्द शुक्लस्य पञ्चमीम ।। ३-२१४-३७ ।।

sanskrit

'The mountains, too, bowed down to Skanda, returning and fixing themselves into the earth. On the fifth day of the lunar month, all creatures celebrated the worship of Skanda.' ।। 3-214-37 ।।

english translation

parvatAza ca namaskRtya tama eva pRthivIM gatAH athAyama abhajala lòkaH sakanda zuklasya paJcamIma || 3-214-37 ||
