पर्वताश च नमस्कृत्य तम एव पृथिवीं गताः अथायम अभजल लॊकः सकन्द शुक्लस्य पञ्चमीम ॥ ३-२१४-३७ ॥

sanskrit

'The mountains, too, bowed down to Skanda, returning and fixing themselves into the earth. On the fifth day of the lunar month, all creatures celebrated the worship of Skanda.' ॥ 3-214-37 ॥

english translation

parvatAza ca namaskRtya tama eva pRthivIM gatAH athAyama abhajala lòkaH sakanda zuklasya paJcamIma ॥ 3-214-37 ॥
