ताव आपतन्तौ संप्रेक्ष्य स बालार्कसमद्युथिः दवाभ्यां गृहीत्वा पाणिभ्यां शक्तिं चान्येन पाणिना अपरेणाग्निदायादस ताम्रचूडं भुजेन सः ।। ३-२१४-२३ ।।

sanskrit

'Seeing them faltering, that youth, shining with a sun-like radiance, grasped them with both hands. In another hand, he held a dart, and in yet another, a stout, red-crested, large cock, securely fastened.' ।। 3-214-23 ।।

english translation

tAva Apatantau saMprekSya sa bAlArkasamadyuthiH davAbhyAM gRhItvA pANibhyAM zaktiM cAnyena pANinA apareNAgnidAyAdasa tAmracUDaM bhujena saH || 3-214-23 ||
