सा तं जञात्वा यथावत तु वह्निं वनम उपागतम तत्त्वतः कामसंतप्तं चिन्तयाम आस भामिनी ॥ ३-२१३-५१ ॥

sanskrit

'But now that the god had retreated to the forest, truly tormented by the pangs of love, she thought.' ॥ 3-213-51 ॥

english translation

sA taM jaJAtvA yathAvata tu vahniM vanama upAgatama tattvataH kAmasaMtaptaM cintayAma Asa bhAminI ॥ 3-213-51 ॥

अहं सप्तर्षिपत्नीनां कृत्वा रूपाणि पावकम कामयिष्यामि कामार्तं तासां रूपेण मॊहितम एवं कृते परीतिर अस्य कामावाप्तिश च मे भवेत ॥ ३-२१३-५२ ॥

'Since I too am overwhelmed with desire, I shall take the form of the wives of the seven Rishis. In that guise, I will approach the fire-god, who is so enraptured by their charms. Once this is done, he will be satisfied, and my longing will also be fulfilled.' ॥ 3-213-52 ॥

english translation

ahaM saptarSipatnInAM kRtvA rUpANi pAvakama kAmayiSyAmi kAmArtaM tAsAM rUpeNa mòhitama evaM kRte parItira asya kAmAvAptiza ca me bhaveta ॥ 3-213-52 ॥
