एवम अग्निर भगवता नष्टः पूर्वम अथर्वणा आहूतः सर्वभूतानां हव्यं वहति सर्वदा ॥ ३-२१२-१९ ॥

sanskrit

'Thus, in ancient times, the fire was destroyed and then revived by the venerable Atharvan. But now, it perpetually carries the oblations of all creatures.' ।। 3-212-19 ।।

english translation

evama agnira bhagavatA naSTaH pUrvama atharvaNA AhUtaH sarvabhUtAnAM havyaM vahati sarvadA ॥ 3-212-19 ॥
