मृतः शरूयेत यॊ जीवन परेयुः पशवॊ यथा इष्टिर अष्टाकपालेन कर्तव्याभिमते ऽगनये ।। ३-२११-२८ ।।

sanskrit

'If, at the time of performing the Agnihotra rites, the death of any creature is mentioned, or if animals die, then rectification must be made by performing the Ashtakapala rites in honor of the Suraman fire.' ।। 3-211-28 ।।

english translation

mRtaH zarUyeta yò jIvana pareyuH pazavò yathA iSTira aSTAkapAlena kartavyAbhimate 'ganaye || 3-211-28 ||
