पौर्णमास्येषु सर्वेषु हविर आज्यं सरुवॊद्यतम भरतॊ नामतः सॊ ऽगनिर दवितीयः शम्युतः सुतः ॥ ३-२०९-६ ॥
'The second son of Sanju, named Bharata, is honoured at all full moon (Purnamasya) sacrifices, where oblations of clarified butter are offered with the sacrificial ladle (Sruk).' ॥ 3-209-6 ॥
english translation
तिस्रः कन्या भवन्त्य अन्या यासां स भरतः पतिः भरतस तु सुतस तस्य भवत्य एका च पुत्रिका ॥ ३-२०९-७ ॥
'In addition to these, he had three sons, with Bharata being the eldest, and a daughter named Bharati.' ॥ 3-209-7 ॥

भरतॊ भरतस्याग्नेः पावकस तु परजापतेः महान अत्यर्थम अहितस तथा भरतसत्तम ॥ ३-२०९-८ ॥
'The Bharata fire is the son of Prajapati Bharata Agni (fire). And, O jewel of the Bharata lineage, due to the great reverence bestowed upon him, he is also known as the great.' ॥ 3-209-8 ॥

भरद्वाजस्य भार्या तु वीरा वीरश च पिण्डदः पराहुर आज्येन तस्येज्यां सॊमस्येव दविजाः शनैः ॥ ३-२०९-९ ॥
'Vira, the wife of Bharadwaja, gave birth to Vira, who is revered like Soma by the Brahmanas. His worship is similar to that of Soma, with offerings of clarified butter and hymns.' ॥ 3-209-9 ॥

हविषा यॊ दवितीयेन सॊमेन सह युज्यते रथप्रभू रथध्वानः कुम्भरेताः स उच्यते ॥ ३-२०९-१० ॥
'In the secondary oblation of clarified butter, he is associated with Soma, and he is also called Rathaprabhu, Rathadhwana, and Kumbhareta.' ॥ 3-209-10 ॥
