यः परशान्तेषु भूतेषु मन्युर भवति पावकः करॊधस्य तु रसॊ जज्ञे मन्यती चाथ पुत्रिका सवाहेति दारुणा करूरा सर्वभूतेषु तिष्ठति ।। ३-२०९-२२ ।।

sanskrit

'And when all creatures are claimed, the fire named Manyauti becomes filled with fury. This inexorably terrible and highly irascible fire, known as Swaha, is the daughter of Vrihaspati and resides in all matter. Under the influence of the three qualities—sattwa, rajas, and tamas—Swaha had three sons.' ।। 3-209-22 ।।

yaH parazAnteSu bhUteSu manyura bhavati pAvakaH karòdhasya tu rasò jajJe manyatI cAtha putrikA savAheti dAruNA karUrA sarvabhUteSu tiSThati || 3-209-22 ||
