[बरा] एवम एतानि पुरुषा दुःखानि च सुखानि च पराप्नुवन्ति महाबुद्धे नॊत्कण्ठां कर्तुम अर्हसि दुष्करं हि कृतं तात जानता जातिम आत्मनः ।। ३-२०६-९ ।।

sanskrit

'The Brahmana said, "O you of great intelligence, all men are subject to both happiness and misery; therefore, you should not grieve over this. In accordance with the customs of your current life, you may have followed these wrongful paths, but you are always devoted to virtue and well-versed in the ways and mysteries of the world."' ।। 3-206-9 ।।

english translation

[barA] evama etAni puruSA duHkhAni ca sukhAni ca parApnuvanti mahAbuddhe nòtkaNThAM kartuma arhasi duSkaraM hi kRtaM tAta jAnatA jAtima AtmanaH || 3-206-9 ||
