नित्यं करॊधात तपॊ रक्षेच छरियं रक्षेत मत्सरात विद्यां मानापमानाभ्याम आत्मानं तु परमादतः ।। ३-२०३-४० ।।

sanskrit

'A person must protect his righteousness from being tainted by the destructive effects of anger, safeguard his virtues from the corrupting influence of pride, preserve his learning from the perils of vanity, and shield his spirit from the illusions that obscure his true nature.' ।। 3-203-40 ।।

english translation

nityaM karòdhAta tapò rakSeca chariyaM rakSeta matsarAta vidyAM mAnApamAnAbhyAma AtmAnaM tu paramAdataH || 3-203-40 ||
