येषाम अस्ति च भॊक्तव्यं गरहणी दॊषपीडिताः न शक्नुवन्ति ते भॊक्तुं पश्य धर्मभृतां वर ॥ ३-२००-१६ ॥
'And, O best of the upholders of righteousness, you have observed that those who have the means to enjoy the good things of this world are often prevented from doing so due to chronic ailments.' ॥ 3-200-16 ॥
english translation
yeSAma asti ca bhòktavyaM garahaNI dòSapIDitAH na zaknuvanti te bhòktuM pazya dharmabhRtAM vara ॥ 3-200-16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअपरे बाहुबलिनः कलिश्यन्ते बहवॊ जनाः दुःखेन चाधिगच्छन्ति भॊजनं दविजसत्तम ॥ ३-२००-१७ ॥
'Many others, strong and powerful, endure suffering and find it exceedingly difficult to secure their livelihood.' ॥ 3-200-17 ॥

apare bAhubalinaH kalizyante bahavò janAH duHkhena cAdhigacchanti bhòjanaM davijasattama ॥ 3-200-17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइति लॊकम अनाक्रन्दं मॊहशॊकपरिप्लुतम सरॊतसासकृद आक्षिप्तं हरियमाणं बलीयसा ॥ ३-२००-१८ ॥
'Thus, every man is helpless, overwhelmed by misery and illusion, continually tossed and dominated by the mighty current of his own actions (karma).' ॥ 3-200-18 ॥

iti lòkama anAkrandaM mòhazòkapariplutama saròtasAsakRda AkSiptaM hariyamANaM balIyasA ॥ 3-200-18 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन मरियेयुर न जीर्येयुः सर्वे सयुः सार्वकामिकाः नाप्रियं परतिपश्येयुर वशित्वं यदि वै भवेत ॥ ३-२००-१९ ॥
'If there were absolute freedom of action, no creature would die, none would suffer decay or await their inevitable fate, and everyone would attain the object of their desire.' ॥ 3-200-19 ॥

na mariyeyura na jIryeyuH sarve sayuH sArvakAmikAH nApriyaM paratipazyeyura vazitvaM yadi vai bhaveta ॥ 3-200-19 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउपर्य उपरि लॊकस्य सर्वॊ गन्तुं समीहते यतते च यथाशक्ति न च तद वर्तते तथा ॥ ३-२००-२० ॥
'All people strive to surpass their neighbors in the race of life, exerting themselves to the utmost, yet the results often turn out otherwise.' ॥ 3-200-20 ॥

uparya upari lòkasya sarvò gantuM samIhate yatate ca yathAzakti na ca tada vartate tathA ॥ 3-200-20 ॥
