अचेष्टमानम आसीनं शरीः कं चिद उपतिष्ठति कश चित कर्माणि कुर्वन हि न पराप्यम अधिगच्छति ।। ३-२००-११ ।।

'On the other hand, those who are constantly engaged in harming others and deceiving the world lead a prosperous life.' ।। 3-200-11 ।।

'There are some who attain prosperity effortlessly, while others, despite their utmost exertion, fail to achieve their goals. Miserly individuals, in the hope of having sons, worship the gods and practice severe austerities. However, the sons born after ten months in the womb turn out to be infamous, bringing disgrace to their lineage.' ।। 3-200-12 ।।

'The diseases that humans suffer are undoubtedly the result of their own karma. They behave like small deer in the hands of hunters, tormented by mental afflictions.' ।। 3-200-14 ।।

karmajA hi manuSyANAM rògA nAstya atra saMzayaH Adhibhiza caiva bAdhyante vayAdhaiH kaSudramRgA iva || 3-200-14 ||

'And, O Brahmana, just as hunters intercept the flight of their game, the progress of those diseases is checked by able and skilled physicians with their collections of medicines.' ।। 3-200-15 ।।
