आयुष्मन्न उपदेशस तु सारथ्ये वर्ततां समृतः सर्वार्थेषु रथी रक्ष्यस तवं चापि भृशपीडितः ॥ ३-२०-३ ॥

sanskrit

'This is absolutely true! However, O long-lived one, it is taught that the charioteer must protect the warrior on the chariot at all costs. You were severely afflicted and wounded by Salwa's arrows.' ॥ 3-20-3 ॥

english translation

AyuSmanna upadezasa tu sArathye vartatAM samRtaH sarvArtheSu rathI rakSyasa tavaM cApi bhRzapIDitaH ॥ 3-20-3 ॥
