ततः संकल्पवीर्येण कामेन विषयेषुभिः विद्धः पतति लॊभाग्नौ जयॊतिर लॊभात पतंगवत ॥ ३-२-६५ ॥
'Ultimately, just as an insect is drawn to a flame by its love for light and falls into the fire, so does a person, driven by desire, fall into the flames of temptation, pierced by the arrows of the desired object and consumed by the resolve that originated from that desire.' ॥ 3-2-65 ॥
