कृषिं साध्व इति मन्यन्ते तत्र हिंसा परा समृता कर्षन्तॊ लाङ्गलैः पुंसॊ घनन्ति भूमिशयान बहून जीवान अन्यांश च बहुशस तत्र किं परतिभाति ते ।। ३-१९९-१९ ।।

'Agriculture is regarded as a noble occupation, yet it is well-known that even in this, significant harm is inflicted upon animal life. The act of plowing the earth destroys countless creatures hidden within the soil, along with various other forms of life. Do you not agree?' ।। 3-199-19 ।।

kRSiM sAdhva iti manyante tatra hiMsA parA samRtA karSantò lAGgalaiH puMsò ghananti bhUmizayAna bahUna jIvAna anyAMza ca bahuzasa tatra kiM paratibhAti te || 3-199-19 ||
