अमांसाशी भवत्य एवम इत्य अपि शरूयते शरुतिः भार्यां गच्छन बरह्मचारी ऋतौ भवति बराह्मणः ॥ ३-१९९-१२ ॥
'Such a person is not considered to have partaken of animal food, even as a Brahmachari who, having intercourse with his wife during her menstrual period, is still regarded as a true Brahmana, provided he observes the prescribed rites.' ॥ 3-199-12 ॥
