अत्रापि विधिर उक्तश च मुनिभिर मांसभक्षणे देवतानां पितॄणां च भुङ्क्ते दत्त्वा तु यः सदा यथाविधि यथाश्रद्धं न स दुष्यति भक्षणात ॥ ३-१९९-११ ॥

'In this matter of animal food, the rule laid down by the sages is this: whoever partakes of it after first offering it properly and respectfully to the gods and the manes, is not tainted by the act.' ।। 3-199-11 ।।

english translation

atrApi vidhira uktaza ca munibhira mAMsabhakSaNe devatAnAM pitRRNAM ca bhuGkte dattvA tu yaH sadA yathAvidhi yathAzraddhaM na sa duSyati bhakSaNAta ॥ 3-199-11 ॥
