तरीण्य एव तु पदान्य आहुः सतां वृत्तम अनुत्तमम न दरुह्येच चैव दद्याच च सत्यं चैव सदा वदेत ॥ ३-१९८-८९ ॥
'Freedom from malice, forbearance, tranquility, contentment, pleasant speech, renunciation of desire and anger, virtuous conduct, and actions in harmony with sacred teachings—these form the true path of the virtuous.' ॥ 3-198-89 ॥
