अश्वै रथैस तथा नागैर यानैश च बहुभिर वृताम हृष्टपुष्ट जनाकीर्णां नित्यॊत्सव समाकुलाम ।। ३-१९८-८ ।।

sanskrit

'That delightful town was also filled with innumerable chariots. And its streets and roads were many and well-laid, with numerous shops lining them. The city was full of horses, chariots, elephants, and warriors. The citizens were in good health and joy, always engaged in festivities.' ।। 3-198-8 ।।

english translation

azvai rathaisa tathA nAgaira yAnaiza ca bahubhira vRtAma hRSTapuSTa janAkIrNAM nityòtsava samAkulAma || 3-198-8 ||
