काललॊभ गरहाकीर्णां पञ्चेन्द्रिय जलां नदीम नावं धृतिमयीं कृत्वा जन्म दुर्गाणि संतर ।। ३-१९८-६७ ।।

sanskrit

'Lust and temptation are like fierce sharks in the river of life, while the waters represent the five senses. Cross over to the far shore of this river in the boat of patience and resignation, steering clear of the shoals of worldly existence and the cycle of rebirth.' ।। 3-198-67 ।।

english translation

kAlalòbha garahAkIrNAM paJcendriya jalAM nadIma nAvaM dhRtimayIM kRtvA janma durgANi saMtara || 3-198-67 ||
