सवकाव अनावृताव ऊरू दृष्ट्वा देववरस तदा मधुकैटभयॊ राजञ शिरसी मधुसूदनः चक्रेण शितधारेण नयकृन्तत महायशः ॥ ३-१९४-३० ॥
'When he could not find any such spot on Earth or in the sky, the Supreme Deity noticed that his thighs were completely uncovered. And there, O King, the illustrious Deity, with his keen-edged discus, severed the heads of Madhu and Kaitabha.' ॥ 3-194-30 ॥
