[उत्तन्क] पर्याप्तॊ मे वरह्य एष यद अहं दृष्टवान हरिम पुरुषं शाश्वतं दिव्यं सरष्टारं जगतः परभुम ॥ ३-१९२-२१ ॥
'And Uttanka said, 'This indeed has been a great boon to me, for I have had the privilege of beholding Hari, the eternal Being, the divine Creator, the Lord of the universe!'' ॥ 3-192-21 ॥
english translation
[विस्णु] परीतस ते ऽहम अलौल्येन भक्त्या च दविजसत्तम अवश्यं हि तवया बरह्मन मत्तॊ गराह्यॊ वरद्विज ॥ ३-१९२-२२ ॥
'Thus addressed, Vishnu said, 'I am pleased with your absence of all desires and your devotion, O best of men! O Brahmana, O regenerate one, you must certainly accept a boon from me!'' ॥ 3-192-22 ॥
english translation
एवं संछन्द्यमानस तु वरेण हरिणा तदा उत्तङ्कः पराञ्जलिर वव्रे वरं भरतसत्तम ॥ ३-१९२-२३ ॥
'Thus urged by Hari to accept a boon, Uttanka, with joined hands, then requested a boon, O best of the Bharatas.' ॥ 3-192-23 ॥
english translation
यदि मे भगवान परीतः पुण्डरीकनिभेक्षणः धर्मे सत्ये दमे चैव बुद्धिर भवतु मे सदा अभ्यासश च भवेद भक्त्या तवयि नित्यं महेश्वर ॥ ३-१९२-२४ ॥
'Saying, 'O illustrious one, O Lord with eyes like lotus petals, if You are pleased with me, may my heart always be steadfast in virtue, truth, and self-contentment. And, O Lord, may my heart always be turned towards You in devotion.'' ॥ 3-192-24 ॥
english translation
[विस्णु] सर्वम एतद धि भविता मत्प्रसादात तव दविज परतिभास्यति यॊगश च येन युक्तॊ दिवौकसाम तरयाणाम अपि लॊकानां महत कार्यं करिष्यसि ॥ ३-१९२-२५ ॥
'And hearing these words of Uttanka, the holy one said, 'O regenerate one, all this shall come to pass through My grace. A yogic power will also manifest in you, by which you shall accomplish a great task for the dwellers of Heaven, as well as for the three worlds.'' ॥ 3-192-25 ॥
