धिग वाचा परिहासॊ ऽपि मम वा मद्विधस्य वा मृत्युनाभ्यधिकः सौते स तवं मा वयपयाः पुनः ।। ३-१९-२३ ।।

sanskrit

'Ridicule, with cries of 'Fie!' is more intolerable to me than death itself, O charioteer. Therefore, you must never again leave the battlefield!' ।। 3-19-23 ।।

english translation

dhiga vAcA parihAsò 'pi mama vA madvidhasya vA mRtyunAbhyadhikaH saute sa tavaM mA vayapayAH punaH || 3-19-23 ||
