नरा दानेषु निरता वरतेषु नियमेषु च जपयज्ञपरा विप्रा धर्मकामा मुदा युताः पालयिष्यन्ति राजानॊ धर्मेणेमां वसुंधराम ॥ ३-१८९-११ ॥
'People will be devoted to charity (dana), Committed to vows (vrata) and religious observances (niyama), The Brahmins will be dedicated to chanting mantras (japa) and performing sacrifices (yajna), They will be desirous of dharma and filled with joy, And kings will protect this Earth according to dharma (righteousness).' ॥ 3-189-11 ॥
