निर्विशेषा जनपदा नरावृष्टिभिर अर्दिताः आश्रमान अभिपत्स्यन्ति फलमूलॊपजीविनः ।। ३-१८८-७१ ।।

'And all distinctions between men will cease as regards conduct and behavior. Afflicted with honorary tasks and offices, people will flee to wooded retreats, subsisting on fruits and roots.' ।। 3-188-71 ।।

english translation

nirvizeSA janapadA narAvRSTibhira arditAH AzramAna abhipatsyanti phalamUlòpajIvinaH || 3-188-71 ||

'And the world will be so afflicted that rectitude of conduct will cease to be exhibited anywhere. Disciples will disregard the instructions of preceptors and even seek to harm them.' ।। 3-188-72 ।।

'And preceptors, impoverished, will be disregarded by men. Friends, relatives, and kinsmen will perform friendly duties only for the wealth a person possesses. And when the end of the Yuga comes, everybody will be in want.' ।। 3-188-73 ।।

'And all the points of the horizon will be ablaze, and the stars and stellar groups will be destitute of brilliancy, and the planets and planetary conjunctions will be inauspicious. The course of the winds will be confused and agitated, and innumerable meteors will flash through the sky, foreboding evil.' ।। 3-188-74 ।।

dizaH parajvalitAH sarvA nakSatrANi calAni ca jayòtIMSi paratikUlAni vAtAH paryAkulAsa tathA ulkA pAtAza ca bahavò mahAbhayanidarzakAH || 3-188-74 ||

'And the Sun will appear with six others of the same kind. And all around there will be din and uproar, and everywhere there will be conflagrations. From the hour of his rising to that of setting, the Sun will be enveloped by Rahu.' ।। 3-188-75 ।।

SaDbhira anyaiza ca sahitò bhAskaraH paratapiSyati tumulAza cApi nirhrAdA diga dAhAza cApi sarvazaH kabandhAntarhitò bhAnura udayAstamaye tadA || 3-188-75 ||
