राजानश चाप्य असंतुष्टाः परार्थान मूढचेतसः सर्वॊपायैर हरिष्यन्ति युगान्ते पर्युपस्थिते ॥ ३-१८८-३६ ॥

'The kings of the earth, their minds clouded by ignorance and hearts consumed by discontent, will, at such a time, exploit and plunder their subjects through every means at their disposal.' ॥ 3-188-36 ॥

rAjAnaza cApya asaMtuSTAH parArthAna mUDhacetasaH sarvòpAyaira hariSyanti yugAnte paryupasthite ॥ 3-188-36 ॥

मलेच्छी भूतं जगत सर्वं भविष्यति च भारत हस्तॊ हस्तं परिमुषेद युगान्ते पर्युपस्थिते ॥ ३-१८८-३७ ॥

'Without a doubt, the entire world will be corrupted and become mleccha (impure). At the end of the Yuga, the right hand will deceive the left, and the left will deceive the right.' ॥ 3-188-37 ॥

malecchI bhUtaM jagata sarvaM bhaviSyati ca bhArata hastò hastaM parimuSeda yugAnte paryupasthite ॥ 3-188-37 ॥

सत्यं संक्षिप्यते लॊके नरैः पण्डितमानिभिः सथविरा बालमतयॊ बालाः सथविर बुद्धयः ॥ ३-१८८-३८ ॥

'Men, falsely claiming wisdom, will distort the truth, while the elderly will reveal the folly of the young, and the young will expose the frailty of the old.' ॥ 3-188-38 ॥

satyaM saMkSipyate lòke naraiH paNDitamAnibhiH sathavirA bAlamatayò bAlAH sathavira buddhayaH ॥ 3-188-38 ॥

भीरवः शूरमानीनः शूरा भीरु विषादिनः न विश्वसन्ति चान्यॊन्यं युगान्ते पर्युपस्थिते ॥ ३-१८८-३९ ॥

'Cowards will be regarded as brave, and the brave will become as joyless as cowards. At the end of the Yuga, trust among men will vanish entirely.' ॥ 3-188-39 ॥

'Full of greed and folly, the entire world will consume but one kind of food. Sin will grow and thrive, while virtue will wither and fade, no longer flourishing.' ॥ 3-188-40 ॥
