न वरतानि चरिष्यन्ति बराह्मणा वेद निन्दकाः न यक्ष्यन्ति न हॊष्यन्ति हेतुवादविलॊभिताः ॥ ३-१८८-२६ ॥
'And the Brahmanas, speaking disrespectfully of the Vedas, will not practice vows. Their understanding, clouded by the science of disputation, will prevent them from performing sacrifices and Homa.' ॥ 3-188-26 ॥
