सरित तीरेषु कुद्दालैर वापयिष्यन्ति चौषधीः ताश चाप्य अल्पफलास तेषां भविष्यन्ति युगक्षये ।। ३-१८८-२३ ।।

sanskrit

'They will even dig the banks of streams with their spades and sow grains there. Yet, those places will prove barren for them at such a time.' ।। 3-188-23 ।।

english translation

sarita tIreSu kuddAlaira vApayiSyanti cauSadhIH tAza cApya alpaphalAsa teSAM bhaviSyanti yugakSaye || 3-188-23 ||
