अस्यैव वरदानाद धि समृतिर न परजहाति माम दीर्घम आयुश च कौन्तेय सवच्छन्दमरणं तथा ॥ ३-१८७-५१ ॥
'It is by the boon granted to me by this one that my memory does not fail, that my life-span, O son of Kunti, is prolonged, and that death itself lies under my control.' ॥ 3-187-51 ॥
english translation
स एष कृष्णॊ वार्ष्णेयः पुराणपुरुषॊ विभुः आस्ते हरिर अचिन्त्यात्मा करीडन्न इव महाभुजः ॥ ३-१८७-५२ ॥
'This is that ancient and supreme Lord Hari, of inconceivable essence, who has incarnated as Krishna of the Vrishni lineage, and who, endowed with mighty arms, appears to sport in this world!' ॥ 3-187-52 ॥
english translation
एष धाता विधाता च संहर्ता चैव सात्वतः शरीवत्स वक्षा गॊविन्दः परजापतिपतिः परभुः ॥ ३-१८७-५३ ॥
'This is the Dhatri and Vidhatri, the Destroyer of all that is eternal, the bearer of the Śhrīvatsa mark on His chest, the Lord of all creatures, the Supreme of the Supreme, known as Govinda!' ॥ 3-187-53 ॥
english translation
दृष्ट्वेमं वृष्णिशार्दूलं समृतिर माम इयम आगता आदिदेवम अजं विष्णुं पुरुषं पीतवाससम ॥ ३-१८७-५४ ॥
'Beholding this foremost of all gods, this ever-victorious Being, attired in yellow robes, this chief of the Vrishni race, my recollection returns to me!' ॥ 3-187-54 ॥
english translation
सर्वेषाम एव भूतानां पिता माता च माधवः गच्छध्वम एनं शरणं शरण्यं कौरवर्षभाः ॥ ३-१८७-५५ ॥
'This Madhava is the father and mother of all creatures! O bulls of the Kuru race, seek refuge in this Protector!' ॥ 3-187-55 ॥
