चतुर्विधानि विप्रर्षे यथावत परमेष्ठिना वायुभूता दिशः कृत्वा विक्षिप्यापस ततस ततः ॥ ३-१८६-५ ॥

sanskrit

'Thou dost behold Brahma, after filling the cardinal directions with air and restoring the waters to their proper place, re-creating the four orders of beings in due course.' ॥ 3-186-5 ॥

english translation

caturvidhAni viprarSe yathAvata parameSThinA vAyubhUtA dizaH kRtvA vikSipyApasa tatasa tataH ॥ 3-186-5 ॥
