अधर्मिष्ठैर उपायैश च परजा वयवहरन्त्य उत संचयेनापि चाल्पेन भवन्त्य आढ्या मदान्विताः ।। ३-१८६-४९ ।।

sanskrit

'And in such times, people engage in sinful behavior even in places of public amusement in cities and towns. They continually pursue their goals through wrongful means, and after acquiring fortunes that are truly insignificant, they become intoxicated with the pride of their wealth.' ।। 3-186-49 ।।

english translation

adharmiSThaira upAyaiza ca parajA vayavaharantya uta saMcayenApi cAlpena bhavantya ADhyA madAnvitAH || 3-186-49 ||
