न तदा बराह्मणः कश चित सवधर्मम उपजीवति कषत्रिया अपि वैश्याश च विकर्मस्था नराधिप ।। ३-१८६-३१ ।।

sanskrit

'This, O tiger among men, is the state of the world during the twilight of the Kali Yuga, O Bharata! At that time, not a single Brahmana adheres to the duties of his order. Even the Kshatriyas and Vaishyas, O monarch, follow practices contrary to those proper for their own orders.' ।। 3-186-31 ।।

english translation

na tadA barAhmaNaH kaza cita savadharmama upajIvati kaSatriyA api vaizyAza ca vikarmasthA narAdhipa || 3-186-31 ||
