एतत परत्यक्षतः सर्वं पूर्ववृत्तं दविजॊत्तम तस्माद इच्छामहे शरॊतुं सर्वहेत्व आत्मिकां कथाम ॥ ३-१८६-११ ॥
'O best of Brahmanas, you have witnessed all that has transpired in the past with your own eyes. Therefore, I earnestly desire to hear your discourse explaining the causes and purposes behind these events.' ॥ 3-186-11 ॥
english translation
अनुभूतं हि बहुशस तवयैकेन दविजॊत्तम न ते ऽसत्य अविदितं किं चित सर्वलॊकेषु नित्यदा ॥ ३-१८६-१२ ॥
'With your senses, you alone have perceived many events, and nothing in all the worlds is beyond your knowledge. There is nothing in all the worlds that is ever unknown to you.' ॥ 3-186-12 ॥
english translation
[मार्क] हन्त ते कथयिष्यामि नमस्कृत्वा सवयम्भुवे पुरुषाय पुराणाय शाश्वतायाव्ययाय च ॥ ३-१८६-१३ ॥
'Indeed, I shall explain everything, but first I bow to the Self-existent, Primordial Being—eternal, imperishable, and beyond comprehension—who transcends attributes yet embodies them all.' ॥ 3-186-13 ॥
english translation
य एष पृथुदीर्घाक्षः पीतवासा जनार्दनः एष कर्ता विकर्ता च सर्वभावन भूतकृत ॥ ३-१८६-१४ ॥
'O tiger among men, this Janardana, adorned in yellow robes, is the supreme Creator and Mover of all. He is the Soul of the universe, the Architect of all things, and the Lord of all beings!' ॥ 3-186-14 ॥
english translation
अचिन्त्यं महद आश्चर्यं पवित्रम अपि चॊत्तमम अनादि निधनं भूतं विश्वम अक्षयम अव्ययम ॥ ३-१८६-१५ ॥
'He is known as the Great, the Incomprehensible, the Wondrous, and the Immaculate. Without beginning or end, He pervades the entire universe, remaining Unchanging and Eternal.' ॥ 3-186-15 ॥
