एवं भूते तदा लॊके संकुले भरतर्षभ अदृश्यन्त सप्तर्षयॊ मनुर मत्स्यः सहैव ह ।। ३-१८५-४२ ।।

sanskrit

'Water was everywhere, covering both the heavens and the firmament. And, O bull of Bharata’s race, when the world was thus flooded, only Manu, the seven Rishis, and the fish could be seen.' ।। 3-185-42 ।।

english translation

evaM bhUte tadA lòke saMkule bharatarSabha adRzyanta saptarSayò manura matsyaH sahaiva ha || 3-185-42 ||
