यत पुनर भवता परॊक्तं न वेद्यं विद्यतेति ह ताभ्यां हीनम अतीत्यात्र पदं नास्तीति चेद अपि ।। ३-१७७-२२ ।।

sanskrit

'And as for your assertion that the object I speak of does not exist, because nothing is devoid of both happiness and misery, such is indeed the opinion, O serpent, that nothing exists without both.' ।। 3-177-22 ।।

english translation

yata punara bhavatA paròktaM na vedyaM vidyateti ha tAbhyAM hInama atItyAtra padaM nAstIti ceda api || 3-177-22 ||
