इमाम अवस्थां संप्राप्तॊ हय अहं कॊपान मनीषिणाम शापस्यान्तं परिप्रेप्सुः सर्पस्य कथयामि तत ।। ३-१७६-१२ ।।

sanskrit

'Hear, O best of the pious, I have fallen into this plight due to the wrath of the Maharshis. Now, desiring to rid myself of the curse, I shall narrate the entire tale to you.' ।। 3-176-12 ।।

english translation

imAma avasthAM saMprAptò haya ahaM kòpAna manISiNAma zApasyAntaM pariprepsuH sarpasya kathayAmi tata || 3-176-12 ||
