ते दवादशं वर्षम अथॊपयान्तं; वने विहर्तुं कुरवः परतीताः तस्माद वनाच चैत्ररथ परकाशाच; छरिया जवलन्तस तपसा च युक्ताः ॥ ३-१७४-२० ॥
'When the twelfth year of their forest exile arrived, the scions of the Kuru race, radiant with glory and engaged in ascetic practices, always devoted to archery, joyfully left the forest resembling Chitraratha.' ॥ 3-174-20 ॥
