अधिष्ठाने न वानार्तः परयुञ्जीत कदा चन परयॊगे सुमहान दॊषॊ हय अस्त्राणां कुरुनन्दन ॥ ३-१७२-१९ ॥

'Even when the cause is present, they should not be hurled unless one is in dire necessity. For, O son of the Kurus, to discharge these weapons without occasion is fraught with great evil.' ॥ 3-172-19 ॥

english translation

adhiSThAne na vAnArtaH parayuJjIta kadA cana parayòge sumahAna dòSò haya astrANAM kurunandana ॥ 3-172-19 ॥
