अन्तर्भूमि गता ये च पराणिनॊ जनमेजय पीड्यमानाः समुत्थाय पाण्डवं पर्यवारयन ॥ ३-१७२-१० ॥

sanskrit

'And, O Janamejaya, the creatures dwelling within the earth, afflicted by the turmoil, rose up and surrounded the Pandava, trembling, with hands joined and faces contorted.' ॥ 3-172-10 ॥

english translation

antarbhUmi gatA ye ca parANinò janamejaya pIDyamAnAH samutthAya pANDavaM paryavArayana ॥ 3-172-10 ॥
