देशं विरजसं पश्य मेरॊर शिखरम उत्तमम यत्रात्म तृप्तैर अध्यास्ते देवैः सह पितामहः ॥ ३-१६०-१६ ॥
'Behold the glorious and radiant summit of Meru, where the great creator, Brahma, sits surrounded by the celestials, content in self-knowledge.' ॥ 3-160-16 ॥
english translation
यम आहुः सर्वभूतानां परकृतेः परकृतिं धरुवम अनादि निधनं देवं परभुं नारायणं परम ॥ ३-१६०-१७ ॥
'Adjacent to Brahma's abode lies the realm of the prime cause of all beings, the eternal and formless Lord Narayana, who has neither beginning nor end.' ॥ 3-160-17 ॥
english translation
बरह्मणः सदनात तस्य परं सथानं परकाशते देवाश च यत्नात पश्यन्ति दिव्यं तेजॊमयं शिवम ॥ ३-१६०-१८ ॥
'And, O King, that auspicious realm, composed of all energies, is beyond the sight of the celestials.' ॥ 3-160-18 ॥
english translation
अत्यर्कानल दीप्तं तत सथानं विष्णॊर महात्मनः सवयैव परभया राजन दुष्प्रेक्ष्यं देवदानवैः ॥ ३-१६०-१९ ॥
'The region of the high-souled Vishnu, with its inherent radiance surpassing the brilliance of the sun or fire, cannot be gazed upon by the gods or the Danavas.' ॥ 3-160-19 ॥
english translation
तद वै जयॊतींषि सर्वाणि पराप्य भासन्ति नॊ ऽपि च सवयं विभुर अदीनात्मा तत्र हय अभिविराजते ॥ ३-१६०-२० ॥
'And the region of Narayana lies resplendent to the east of Meru, where, O child, the lord of all creatures, the self-created primal Cause of the universe, having manifested all beings, shines with his supreme grace.' ॥ 3-160-20 ॥
