तम आसीनं महाकायाः शङ्कुकर्णा महाजवाः उपॊपविविशुर यक्षा राक्षसाश च सहस्रशः ॥ ३-१५८-३६ ॥

'Thousands of Yakshas and Rakshasas, with huge bodies, spear-like ears, and great speed, surrounded him as he sat there.' ।। 3-158-36 ।।

english translation

tama AsInaM mahAkAyAH zaGkukarNA mahAjavAH upòpavivizura yakSA rAkSasAza ca sahasrazaH ॥ 3-158-36 ॥

शतशश चापि गन्धर्वास तथैवाप्सरसां गणाः परिवार्यॊपतिष्ठन्त यथा देवाः शतक्रतुम ॥ ३-१५८-३७ ॥

'Similarly, hundreds of Gandharvas and hosts of Apsaras stood surrounding him, just as the gods surround him who has performed a hundred sacrifices.' ।। 3-158-37 ।।

zatazaza cApi gandharvAsa tathaivApsarasAM gaNAH parivAryòpatiSThanta yathA devAH zatakratuma ॥ 3-158-37 ॥

काञ्चनीं शिरसा बिभ्रद भीमसेनः सरजं शुभाम बाणखड्गधनुष्पाणिर उदैक्षत धनाधिपम ॥ ३-१५८-३८ ॥

'Just as the celestials gather around him who is adorned with a golden garland and holds his noose, sword, and bow after performing a hundred sacrifices.' ।। 3-158-38 ।।

kAJcanIM zirasA bibhrada bhImasenaH sarajaM zubhAma bANakhaDgadhanuSpANira udaikSata dhanAdhipama ॥ 3-158-38 ॥

न भीर भीमस्य न गलानिर विक्षतस्यापि राक्षसैः आसीत तस्याम अवस्थायां कुबेरम अपि पश्यतः ॥ ३-१५८-३९ ॥

'Bhima stood there, gazing at Kuvera, unshaken by his wounds inflicted by the Rakshasas, nor by the arrival of the Lord of Wealth in such a grand display.' ।। 3-158-39 ।।

na bhIra bhImasya na galAnira vikSatasyApi rAkSasaiH AsIta tasyAma avasthAyAM kuberama api pazyataH ॥ 3-158-39 ॥

'Seeing Bhima, the son of Dharma, standing ready to fight and taking up sharp arrows, the warrior, the Lord of Wealth, spoke.' ।। 3-158-40 ।।
