[वै] शरुत्वा बहुविधैः शब्दैर नाद्यमाना गिरे गुहाः अजातशत्रुः कौन्तेयॊ माद्रीपुत्राव उभाव अपि ।। ३-१५८-१ ।।

sanskrit

'Vaisampayana said, "Hearing various sounds echoing from the caves of the mountain and seeing no sign of Bhimasena, Kunti's son, Ajatasatru, along with the twin sons of Madri turned towards both of them."' ।। 3-158-1 ।।

english translation

[vai] zarutvA bahuvidhaiH zabdaira nAdyamAnA gire guhAH ajAtazatruH kaunteyò mAdrIputrAva ubhAva api || 3-158-1 ||

'Dhaumya, Krishna, the Brahmanas, and all the friends of the Pandavas, were filled with deep anxiety.' ।। 3-158-2 ।।

'Then, entrusting Draupadi to the care of Arshtishena, and armed for battle, the valiant and mighty charioteers together began to ascend the mountain’s summit.' ।। 3-158-3 ।।
