स तच छरुत्वा तु संक्रुद्धः सर्वयक्षगणाधिपः कॊपसंरक्त नयनः कथम इत्य अब्रवीद वचः ॥ ३-१५८-२१ ॥

'Having heard this, the lord of all the Yaksha hosts, enraged and with eyes burning in fury, exclaimed, 'What!'' ॥ 3-158-21 ॥

english translation

दवितीयम अपराध्यन्तं भीमं शरुत्वा धनेश्वरः चुक्रॊध यक्षाधिपतिर युज्यताम इति चाब्रवीत ॥ ३-१५८-२२ ॥

'Upon hearing that Bhima had committed a second offense, Kubera (the Lord of Wealth), the king of Yakshas, became angry and commanded 'Let him be confronted!'' ॥ 3-158-22 ॥

english translation

अथाभ्र धनसंकाशं गिरिकूटम इवॊच्छ्रितम हयैः संयॊजयाम आसुर गान्धर्वैर उत्तमं रथम ॥ ३-१५८-२३ ॥

'Hearing of Bhima's second act of aggression, the lord of treasures, the king of the Yakshas, was filled with wrath and said, 'Yoke the horses!' Then, to a chariot dark as the clouds and as high as a mountain peak, they yoked steeds adorned in golden garb.' ॥ 3-158-23 ॥

english translation

तस्य सर्ग गुणॊपेता विमलाक्षा हयॊत्तमाः तेजॊबलजवॊपेता नानारत्नविभूषिताः ॥ ३-१५८-२४ ॥

'Once yoked to the chariot, his splendid horses, endowed with every noble quality and the ten auspicious curls of hair, full of energy and strength, adorned with various gems, looked magnificent.' ॥ 3-158-24 ॥

english translation

शॊभमाना रथे युक्तास तरिष्यन्त इवाशुगाः हर्षयाम आसुर अन्यॊन्यम इङ्गितैर विजयावहैः ॥ ३-१५८-२५ ॥

'Eager to race like the wind, they began to neigh at each other, their sounds echoing the triumph of victory.' ॥ 3-158-25 ॥
