परतिहन्यन्त ते सर्वे गदाम आसाद्य सायकाः न वेगं धारयाम आसुर गदा वेगस्य वेगिताः ।। ३-१५७-५९ ।।

sanskrit

'Though fired with force by the skilled mace-wielder, the arrows were helpless against the mace, and could not halt its unstoppable path.' ।। 3-157-59 ।।

english translation

paratihanyanta te sarve gadAma AsAdya sAyakAH na vegaM dhArayAma Asura gadA vegasya vegitAH || 3-157-59 ||
