दरौपद्या वर्धयन हर्षं गदाम आदाय पाण्डवः वयपेतभयसंमॊहः शैलराजं समाविशत ॥ ३-१५७-३१ ॥

'Fearless and unfazed, the Pandava, wielding his mace, proceeded toward the king of mountains, bringing joy to Draupadi.' ॥ 3-157-31 ॥

english translation

न गलानिर न च कातर्यं न वैक्लव्यं न मत्सरः कदा चिज जुषते पार्थम आत्मजं मातरिश्वनः ॥ ३-१५७-३२ ॥

'Neither exhaustion, nor fatigue, nor weariness, nor the malice of others, ever affected that son of Pritha and the Wind-god.' ॥ 3-157-32 ॥

english translation

तद एकायनम आसाद्य विषमं भीमदर्शनम बहुतालॊछ्रयं शृङ्गम आरुरॊह महाबलः ॥ ३-१५७-३३ ॥

'Reaching a rugged path, narrow enough for only one to pass, the mighty one ascended that fearsome summit, towering as high as several palmyra palms stacked upon one another.' ॥ 3-157-33 ॥

english translation

स किंनरमहानागमुनिगन्धर्वराक्षसान हर्षयन पर्तवस्याग्रम आससाद महाबलः ॥ ३-१५७-३४ ॥

'Having ascended the summit, the foremost of the Bharata line, endowed with immense strength, delighted the Kinnaras, great Nagas, Munis, Gandharvas, and Rakshasas.' ॥ 3-157-34 ॥

english translation

तत्र वैश्रवणावासं ददर्श भरतर्षभः काञ्चनैः सफाटिकाकारैर वेश्मभिः समलंकृतम ॥ ३-१५७-३५ ॥

'He described the abode of Vaisravana, adorned with golden crystal palaces surrounded by radiant golden walls, gleaming like precious gems.' ॥ 3-157-35 ॥
