सान्त्विता धर्मराजेन परसेदुः कषणदाचराः विदिताश च कुबेरस्य ततस ते नरपुंगवाः ऊषुर नातिचिरं कालं रममाणाः कुरूद्वहाः ॥ ३-१५३-३१ ॥

sanskrit

'Pacified by Yudhishthira the just, the Rakshasas were content. With the knowledge of Kubera, the foremost of the Kurus dwelt for a short time on the slopes of Gandhamadana, enjoying themselves as they awaited Arjuna.' ॥ 3-153-31 ॥

english translation

sAntvitA dharmarAjena paraseduH kaSaNadAcarAH viditAza ca kuberasya tatasa te narapuMgavAH USura nAticiraM kAlaM ramamANAH kurUdvahAH ॥ 3-153-31 ॥
