उद्यम्य च गदां दॊर्भ्यां नदीतीरे वयवस्थितम परजा संक्षेप समये दण्डहस्तम इवान्तकम ॥ ३-१५३-२५ ॥

sanskrit

'Upon seeing the high-souled Bhima, standing on the shore of the lake with a fierce expression, his eyes fixed, biting his lip, and holding his mace aloft with both hands, he resembled Yama himself, mace in hand, at the time of the universal dissolution.' ॥ 3-153-25 ॥

english translation

udyamya ca gadAM dòrbhyAM nadItIre vayavasthitama parajA saMkSepa samaye daNDahastama ivAntakama ॥ 3-153-25 ॥
