कवासौ कवासाव इति पुनस तत्र तत्र विधावति मया किल रणे युद्धं काङ्क्षमाणः स सौभराट ॥ ३-१५-११ ॥
'As Krishna repeatedly demanded, "Where is he? Where is he?" the lord of Saubha rushed about, eager to face me in battle.' ॥ 3-15-11 ॥
english translation
अद्य तं पापकर्माणं कषुद्रं विश्वासघातिनम शिशुपाल वधामर्षाद गमयिष्ये यमक्षयम ॥ ३-१५-१२ ॥
'Shalva also declared, 'Fueled by my wrath over Shishupala’s death, I will today send that treacherous miscreant to Yama’s abode.'' ॥ 3-15-12 ॥
english translation
मम पापस्वभावेन भराता येन निपातितः शिशुपालॊ महीपालस तं वधिष्ये महीतले ॥ ३-१५-१३ ॥
'And, O king, he further declared, ‘I shall slay Janardana, who, wretched as he is, killed my brother—a mere boy, unprepared and not in battle!’' ॥ 3-15-13 ॥
english translation
भराता बालश च राजा च न च संग्राममूर्धनि परमत्तश च हतॊ वीरस तं हनिष्ये जनार्दनम ॥ ३-१५-१४ ॥
'A brother, a child, a king, and not in the forefront of battle, Intoxicated and a slain hero - I shall slay that Janardan.' ॥ 3-15-14 ॥
english translation
एवमादि महाराज विलप्य दिवम आस्थितः कामगेन स सौभेन कषिप्त्वा मां कुरुनन्दन ॥ ३-१५-१५ ॥
'After lamenting and cursing me thus, he ascended into the sky on his chariot of precious metals, which could travel anywhere at will.' ॥ 3-15-15 ॥
