उत्पाट्य कदली सकन्धान बहुतालसमुच्छ्रयान चिक्षेप तरसा भीमः समन्ताद बलिनां वरः ॥ ३-१४६-४४ ॥

'Uprooting the clusters of banana trees along with their stems, and the tall areca palms, Bhima, the best among the strong, hurled them with great force in all directions.' ॥ 3-146-44 ॥

utpATya kadalI sakandhAna bahutAlasamucchrayAna cikSepa tarasA bhImaH samantAda balinAM varaH ॥ 3-146-44 ॥
