सर्वेषाम आश्रमॊ ऽसमाकं रणे ऽरीणां परमर्दिता आहर्ता सर्वरत्नानां सर्वेषां नः सुखावहः ॥ ३-१४२-१६ ॥
'He possesses the power to gather any treasure, and he serves to ensure our happiness.' ॥ 3-142-16 ॥
english translation
sarveSAma Azramò 'samAkaM raNe 'rINAM paramarditA AhartA sarvaratnAnAM sarveSAM naH sukhAvahaH ॥ 3-142-16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptरत्नानि यस्य वीर्येण दिव्यान्य आसन पुरा मम बहूनि बहु जातानि यानि पराप्तः सुयॊधनः ॥ ३-१४२-१७ ॥
'It was through his prowess that I once owned countless priceless jewels of every kind, which Suyodhana has now usurped.' ॥ 3-142-17 ॥
english translation
ratnAni yasya vIryeNa divyAnya Asana purA mama bahUni bahu jAtAni yAni parAptaH suyòdhanaH ॥ 3-142-17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयस्य बाहुबलाद वीर सभा चासीत पुरा मम सर्वरत्नमयी खयाता तरिषु लॊकेषु पाण्डव ॥ ३-१४२-१८ ॥
'It was by his might, O hero, that I once possessed that magnificent palace, adorned with all manner of jewels, renowned across the three worlds.' ॥ 3-142-18 ॥

yasya bAhubalAda vIra sabhA cAsIta purA mama sarvaratnamayI khayAtA tariSu lòkeSu pANDava ॥ 3-142-18 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवासुदेव समं वीर्ये कार्तवीर्य समं युधि अजेयम अजितं युद्धे तं न पश्यामि फल्गुनम ॥ ३-१४२-१९ ॥
'O son of Pandu, in prowess, Phalguni is like unto Vasudeva, and in battle, he is invincible and unmatched, even as Kartavirya.' ॥ 3-142-19 ॥

vAsudeva samaM vIrye kArtavIrya samaM yudhi ajeyama ajitaM yuddhe taM na pazyAmi phalgunama ॥ 3-142-19 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसंकर्षणं महावीर्यं तवां च भीमापराजितम अनुजातः स वीर्येण वासुदेवं च शत्रुहा ॥ ३-१४२-२० ॥
'Alas! I do not see him, O Bhima. That conqueror of foes follows in the footsteps of the unconquerable and mighty Sankarshana (Balarama) and Vasudeva.' ॥ 3-142-20 ॥
