तपसा शक्यते गन्तुं पर्वतॊ गन्धमादनः तपसा चैव कौन्तेय सर्वे यॊक्ष्यामहे वयम ॥ ३-१४१-२२ ॥
'Lomasa said, 'The path to the Gandhamadana mountain can only be traversed through asceticism. Therefore, O son of Kunti, let us all undertake austerities.'' ॥ 3-141-22 ॥
